do you have unfinished business?
I just took a quick look around my kitchen/family room (it’s all one big room) and here’s what I noticed:
- an empty bowl on the couch (from someone’s snack yesterday)
- a box of golf balls sitting on the island (from a birthday party on Thursday)
- a pair of capris on a chair (from a potential morning wardrobe switch last week when winter leggings may have been too hot)
- the book Living Big on the kitchen table (salvaged from our garage sale on Saturday)
Do you know what these things all represent?
They represent unfinished business.
They represent partial completion of tasks.
They are the result of distraction and rushing onto the next (more important/ urgent/shinier/fun) thing.
Notice how it all adds up?
It’s no different in business.
In fact, I’m here to tell you that when you get distracted, lose focus, and caught up in creating WITHOUT the follow through, you end up with a whole lot of unfinished business.
“I FINISH WHAT I START IN MY BUSINESS”
It might seem like a simple statement. But knowing how true it is for you is the first step in a powerful shift I’m asking Visionaries like you to make. I want you to finish what you start so you can create consistent results in your business. And I’ll be right there with you leading the way.
You can answer the question here by giving it a number on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is never true and 10 is always true.
I finish what I start in my business.
If you haven’t already, answer all 15 questions and find out what the number means here.
(I’ve been told they’ve been eye-opening and a welcome dose of reality.)
